Registration:
Class sizes are limited. Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration will
follow the free introductory classes on September 8th & 10th, 2008 in Abbotsford Christian
Elementary School. Those interested must register in advance for the free introductory
class by email or by phone.
Registration Information
Fees: All classes run from September to end of May
KinderTwirl $37 per month 45mins once per week
Twirl 1 $42 per month 1 hour once per week
Twirl 2 $52 per month 1.5 hours once per week
Twirl 2 Comp. $65 per month 3 hours once per week
Twirl 3 Comp. $75 per month 6 hour gym time 1.5hr private
GST is included. Post dated cheques are due at time of registration. There will be a $35
service fee for any NSF cheques. Private lessons are available upon request. Inquire for
pricing and available times. Classes will be cancelled on Statuatory Holidays that fall on a
Monday. Prices include 2 badges per year!
Membership:
All students must obtain a membership with the Baton Twirling Association of B.C.
(BTABC). Membership fees for beginner students is $20 per year. This membership
provides access to events hosted by the Baton Twirling Association of British Columbia,
participation in the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation's Skills Development Program,
and provides insurance to all members. This form will be available at registration.
Baton:
All students must purchase a baton. The baton can be purchased from Let’s Twirl! for
$28. Your child will be measured for a baton at registration and provided with a loaner
baton until the order for a brand new baton is received. The order takes approximately 2
weeks.
Attire:
Female athletes are required to wear a bodysuit, tights, and black jazz oxfords. Hair must
be tied back. Male athletes are required to wear a t-shirt/tank and shorts. A group routine
baton twirling costume will be required for performances. A $70 costume fee will be
collected in January 2009..
Badge Testing
Canadian Baton Twirling Federation (CBTF). All students will prepare for and have the
option to take baton twirling badge exams (included in monthly fee)
Other fees:
Members will be attending two competitions in 2008, one in April and one in May.
Competition fees are approximately $15 at the beginner level. These fees will be collected
in March.

Attendance
All students are expected at all lessons. Instilling these principles in young people will
benefit them in learning and keeping good values throughout their lifetimes. Please
inform your coach/instructor if you cannot attend a lesson. No refunds will be made for
missed lessons.

Performances:
Members are expected to perform at local events (TBA). These events will take place in
July and August. There will be no additional fees for these events or practices.
